Privacy notice for the demo request form

This notice explains the demo request form on the Modern Hukuk website under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and Articles 4 and 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. This notice is provided for information; submitting the form does not mean that you agree to receive marketing messages.

1. Data controller

Data controller: [full name of the individual or full legal name of the entity providing Modern Hukuk]. Address: [full address of the data controller]. Representative, if any, and contact details: [representative details or confirmation that there is no representative].

2. Data collected and collection method

Your full name, email address and telephone number are required; your firm / organisation name is optional. Data is collected directly from you electronically, by partly automated means, when you complete and submit this form. The form cannot be submitted without the required fields. Leaving the firm / organisation name blank does not prevent a demo request.

The submission time, page language, version of the privacy notice shown and request follow-up information are recorded with your request. Authorised staff may record the status of communications about demo requests and a follow-up note about those communications.

3. Purpose and legal basis

Your data is processed solely to contact you by email or telephone in response to your demo request, arrange the demo meeting and follow up that request. Data from this form is not used for advertising, newsletters or other marketing messages.

The legal basis is Article 5(2)(f) KVKK: processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller in handling your demo request, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.

4. Access and disclosure

Authorised administration and support staff handling communications about demo requests and request follow-up on behalf of the data controller have access to demo request records. [Complete any service-provider recipient groups, the data disclosed and the purpose of disclosure to each group within communications about demo requests.]

[Complete whether data is transferred abroad. If so, specify the recipient group, country, data transferred, purpose and transfer basis under Article 9 KVKK.]

5. Retention and erasure

Data is retained only for as long as necessary to communicate about and follow up the demo request. [Complete the retention period and its starting point for demo requests and follow-up notes, and the erasure schedule for backups and action records.] Once the reasons for processing cease to exist, Article 7 KVKK requires data to be erased, destroyed or anonymised. You can request erasure through the application channel below.

6. Your rights under Article 11 KVKK

You may apply to the data controller to exercise the following rights concerning your personal data:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information if it has been processed.
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose.
  • Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred within Türkiye or abroad.
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data.
  • Request erasure or destruction of your data under the conditions in Article 7 KVKK.
  • Request that correction, erasure or destruction be notified to third parties to whom your data has been transferred.
  • Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of your data solely by automated systems.
  • Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing of your personal data.

7. How to apply

You may submit an application in Turkish in writing to [postal address for applications to the data controller], or email [designated application email address] from an email address you have previously provided to the data controller and that is registered in its system. [Complete any registered electronic mail (KEP) address and other available application channels.] Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller governs the application content and method. Under Article 13 KVKK, applications are resolved free of charge as soon as possible, according to their nature, and within 30 days at the latest; fees under the Communiqué may apply if the procedure incurs additional costs.
